I'm finally going to do this. Xmas shopping is done so I got a bit left over and most of my old gear is sold.

Goals.. Not spend 5 figures, possibly compete in low ranked SQ if my new location has anything going on. Keep stock electrical and stock mounting.

It's going to be one of my 2 favorite brands. Digital designs or JL. Install will be on point, sealed up and MLV as needed. Price is about the same.

Stock sync. Can't do anything about that. It has USB, Aux, CD. Daily it's on Sat radio. I still have my RTA

Even though JL is big in the sound quality world, I'm surprised that you're not set on using DD. One of my friends has some of JL's sound quality subs (I forget which ones) in a sealed box that is within specs, and they are not extremely impressive.

I have some 9512h's and a 9912 Z series. Probably won't buy another brand of subs ever again.

I will get my Z reconed by Sundown though

This system you are planning, i'm trying to see if you are looking at the right equipment.

This setup is not for daily driving at all? Just competing?

Also, what format of the music is on CD? CD is just a piece of media.

It will be for daily use, possibly comps but I'm moving so I don't know what they have there if anything.

I know it won't be at the level of my scion but I want it above average. I had 10 grand in the scion, it would hit a 150 and win mod SQ.

I was planing on using whatever orgs CD. No youtube rips or stuff like that.

I still have my 95is in the attic if you want more. They won't sell here because the shop gives everyone team deals. Also most of the people using JL are not using it right. Spec box is to small.
