So i'm redesigning my system and I need some help. So here's my required specs:

1. price= around $150 shipped

2. mounting depth= 6" or less

3. the amp is an orion 1200d (425+ @ 4 ohms)

4. box= 0.7 sealed

I listen to mainly rock with a little bit of rap, if you can find a 10 that will fit, that'll work too.....Thanks in advance

I'll go along with the suggestion of the RL-i8 as it is a more than capable driver.

However - if that is too much outside of your budget for the money the Buy1 Get1 on Kicker CompVRs that is in effect for a couple more days would certainly be an option as well....you could get a pair of CVR 8s from Crutchfield for just under $110/shipped with a full valid manufacturer's warranty. (the sale goes off June 30th if memory serves, however)

i bought 2 dd 1008's from a member here for $150. i dont have my new amp yet but i hooked them up to my alpine only getting 200w each and they were way louder than i thought they would be. i cant wait to push 400 at them. i am running them sealed.

if your interested i think there may still be 2 available.

I got 2 Resonant Engineering RE8's on a 300 watt Jensen amp, now though I will be upgrading the amp to a PG Xenon 400.1, they get amazingly loud on the 300 watts, I haven't had a chance to meter them yet, but best guess would be around 135db.
