Photoshop CS3 help?

I'm trying to figure out how to create gifs in CS3 but to no avail.

I'm starting out with a Quicktime Movie format, as that's how my camera takes video, opening, and pretty much just saving for web as .gif.

which works, and turns it into a gif, but it doesn't make it loop over and over. It just plays once.

anyone have any knowledge?

ok so i opened it in windows movie maker. the only thing i can find that i can do to it is add effects and transitions. where can i set it to loop and such?

havent used it in a while you have to do it in the timeline on bottom

Ok so you have gotten as far as saving the movie clip as a gif but it doesnt loop?

Ok open the gif up in photoshop

Goto Window > Animation *To see Animation You might need to select the last option "SHOW ALL MENU ITEMS"

At the bottom of that animation window is a row of buttons.. The far left button prolly says "Once" click it and set it to "Forever"

and then go to File > Save for Web

done.

and this is in CS3? because someone told me to do that, but when i open up the animation window, it doesn't show "once" with the arrow, unless i click on the button in the bottom right that says "Convert to Frame Animation" but once I do that, it only shows one frame, not all 37 that are in the sequence....

I dunno how your saving out the gif or how quicktime is saving out the gif...

try to follow this tutorial..
