hi i was wondering if phoenix golds amps put out what they say they do.i was looking at the rsd1200.1 and the r15.0.1 i was wondering if they were any good

go with the rsd if you can, much better than the r15.1

rsd1200.1 is a good amp and should do more then rated power.

All of the Phoenix Gold amps will do their rated output and more with the exception of their Octane series (I don't know what the heck they were thinking when they made that crap).

The octanes are durable, at least from my experience. Not sure about the exact power ratings, but it got loud enough for what I paid.

I beg to differ. The octanes do rated power. Im not sure where you were provided with that false information...

The Octanes will do rated power but remeber that the power numbers listed for them are MAX power. You actaully have to look for the RMS ratings.
