Phoenix Gold Xenon for SQ?

I am looking at a x100.4 @ $225 shipped

Which everyone knows puts out at least 135x4, to power 2 sets of comps and/or possibly midbass rear fill in a Grand Cherokee.

I love the Xenon Line and want to consider them for future 4 channel upgrade.

Currently have an Alpine MRV-F345 with Type-R comps in front and JL coax's in rear

with Mmats D300 on an TC 2000 15" ported at 30hz 4.7 cu. Alpine Pandora headunit.

Carsound tested it at around 115/ch, but it's fine for SQ, as is your Alpine. "Everyone knows" speakers give you SQ, not amps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Here's another suggestion: spend the money on a better set of front components, ditch the rears, and bridge the MRV-F345 (so 150w per channel). Then, make sure the front components are installed optimally i.e seal the door up, deaden the panels, and aim the tweeters in some nice fiberglass a-pillar or dashboard pods. I think that would be a better use of money - upgrading to the x100.4 would be nice, but the Type-R components are the limiting factor IMO.
