Unless your dropping some coin on supremo/piccolo; morel makes some harsh tweeters.....

meh harsh is a strong word, it's really even order distortion; which some describe as warm

and enjoy it.

I have them as well, I did not think they are as great as the hype..I had them running thru the ti xover off a memphis pr200, First the tweeters blew, got them replaced thru PG, they blew again in like a week, So I replaced them with some Boston tweets..Over a year now, same amp and xover, no problems. Next was the rubber surround. It came loose and started to separate. I had to CA it back on...These were getting only 100 watts a set, amp set to High pass. Ive since taken them out and am contemplating what to do with them... When they were installed, they sounded a little flat to my liking...

So overall..if installed correctly, they are a decent driver.. But i wouldnt feed them anyway near the 300 watts they claim. I had them on 300 and they were not happy.

250 wrms to mine off of a PG ZPA0.3 and no problems what so ever. Decided to go active w/them via my PG ZX50v2 set at 75 wrms to the tweets and 100 wrms to the mids. No problems there what so ever too.

I too had heard stories about the tweets, but a fellow member on another forum GAVE me an extra set of his to put at ease any issues I had about doing it. I'd like to offer up my Ti6 set for sale. I think I mentioned it earlier in this thread - my car got broken into. My set had been used for about 6 months or less. It's been in my closet for about 1 1/2 since. So the set is around 2 years old. Just got it reinstalled. they tried to get one of the speakers out of the kickpod and the driver was damaged in the process. Selling two tweeters, crossover + 1 Ti6. And if you want it I'll send you the damaged on too - $175
