TBayz, I'll find out the mounting depth a little later when I get home. UPS just dropped mine off on Wednesday. I'm starting my complete system install tomorrow morning since I just picked up a Pioneer deh-p5900ib for real cheap. I'll make sure to install them right with the whole modeling clay and sound deadening stuff and let you know how they sound.

- Mounting depth w/o grills, I'd say right at 2.75".

- Overall height of the speaker with grill attached is about 3.5"

Just installed my Rsd's and all I have to say is WOW. They scream and sound good doing it. I deadened the inner and outer skin of the door panel and did the whole modeling clay thing and they sound great. Midbass is out of this world and you would swear I had some tang bands in my doors. They compliment the rest of my system very well and I'd like to thank those who convinced me to buy them.

As far as the mounting depth, the documentation that came with them say it is 2 5/8''................just to let you know TBayz1.........
