Ok, How do these new rsd amps compare to the xenons? I know that the xenon line are pretty good amps. havent messed with the new rsd amps but the xenon amps were tough to beat and were wayyyyyy underrated

ive seen them around here before, not too many though

post in the WTB section for one, guarantee ull find one eventually

btw my old x600.1 birthsheet stated 816w or somethin like that

PG was bought out about a year ago by Rodin Audio, but they still seem to be pumping out some solid products

Also hopefully they will continue to put out good products, to many companies "sell out" and start producing massive crap, and rely solely on name, i hope this doesnt happen to PG

From what I have read, the RSD amplifiers are closer to the old ways of PG then the Xenon's, just with out a few features. Prices are awesome. Check phoenixphorum.com for more people that know.

The older PG amplifiers (ex. MS, ZPA, ZX etc.) were an all out top notch design by PG. Since then, many of the main engineers/designers have left PG and started Exile. Plus PG was bought by Rodin Audio. So the change was not bad, just that much of the target market of their products was shifted from top end, high dollar customers, to the average schmo. This meant they moved much more product, but they had to make cut backs to cut costs to bring the price down. But from what I have read, it appears the RSD's are a closer step towards the MS series and ZX amps of old then the prior Xenon/Octane etc. models.

Xenon were good amps, can't say the same for Octane

rsd are solid amps...most people just don't care for their looks. I had a rsd1200 amp and it never gave me any problems.
