no flaming please! very tight buget here. I have 1 aq sdc 2.5 10 inch sub thats making a little mechanical noise but still slams. I want to move up to 2 12s in my new hatchback. I have 600rms at 1 ohm, the cvrs can be got for 145 shipped and the rsd 12s can be got for abot 120 shipped. Ive read reveiws on both and it seems the rsd has better sq but I want to port and have some spl too. Any help would be appreciated.

anybody???? how is the sq on the cvrs? is it that bad? I just want to hit the lows hard like my audioque sdc 2.5 10 does, except louder.

CVRs arent too bad with SQ in my opinion, but it could be better.. and ive run 2 dual4s sealed, as well as ported, and either way they do get fairly loud for budget.. no exp. with the rsd's tho.

what type of enclosure? if its even remotely small then 300watts a piece will not be enough for the rsd12s

Depends on what you want, the rsd are pretty much pure sq subs.

Sa 12s for slightly more will blow away both of those subs. Broken record but theres truth to it

sa 12s are not slightly more, they are alot more thsn 140 a pair of 12s.

Blah sa-12's are too pricey. Not worth it unless you have 1000 watts to run to each.

make sure you get the RSD "C" its much better than the RSD ...totally different monster. I have 1 but I am still working on my box and tuning my amp so I cant say I am getting the fantastic results I read about before I got it.
