what do you guys think of these amps, are they decent, i have heard some of the new phoenix gold stuff has problems. will these things put out their rated power. and how much will they affect my electrical system. i thinking of the OCTANE-R 8.0:4 and the OCTANE-R 4.0:2 to power a set of focal components and a pair of focal coxials.
The xenon series was the only series that had problems, but those problems have long been fixed. The octane series have been fine. the 8.04 will put out 75rms *4@ 4 ohms, and 250*2 briged at 4 ohms. The 4.02 is 75*2 @ 4 ohms. Those are the actuall rms listings. The octane r amps are rated by peak specs, but these are the correct measurements incase you didnt already know. They will put out this power, and then some. Good solid amps.
