Phoenix Gold Octane-R 8.0:4?

Does anyone here own the Phoenix Gold Octane-R 8.0:4 amp? Does anyone know if the amp is any good? It has gotten great reviews and I just got CarDomain to price match it down to $165.

Im trying to find a 4-Ch amp so I am able to bridge two channels for one sub and then use a channel for each front speaker.

From what I have heard they are rated at MAX power output, other than that, the usual dud everyonce in a while and some comments about build quality. No mass revolt against the line though.

Any recommendations for an Image Dynamics ID 12" sub? Its dual 2 ohms and has to also run a pair of front speakers.
