i havent seen quality pg stuff sence the 90's. its a shame they went down hill so bad. didnt they file chapter 11 a yr or 2 ago?

Have you taken a look at any amps at all. open a xenon, and open any other amp pg has ever made. Xenons are infact the most overbuilt amp pg has made to date ( production wise)

The Titanium line of amps would be the last I'd consider owning...and none of the subs have really impressed me. Certainly there are better options for the price.

I have owned the ti line of everything. Great line, but not all it was cracked up to be, and definately not worth the price tag they go for. Xenon is more overbuilt, and can be had at a much better price..

I have old and new pg.. Have owned just about every amp line they have made period, and done countless tests between them aswell.. Just curious though, have you given the xenon amps, or any of the rsd, or rsdc subs a chance?

I will say this though, they have not made anything remotely high end since the xenon line. As of late, they have just been making bang for the buck, middle of the road stuff, but not crap.. We are all hoping to get the high end stuff back with the release of the new stuff coming. Fingers crossed for a nice high end comp set.

why is that? Definately not high end, but they both make rated power for the amps, I dont see why thats a negative.. They should have spun off a division with a new name to build them.

I didnt mean audio bahn. Im speaking of the forum boner companies.. Rsd amps did quite well infact, and also made some noise in magazines... Either way its definately more budget oriented stuff, so I can see how that makes some people feel, compared to some older stuff, but Its not crap.. We will just have to see what the future holds. I just wish they would make 15s again, but that seems to be a thing of the past. I loved my titanium 15s. Those were the very first subs I had in a car..

The only way I see any of these companies going back to the glory days is for the consumers to return to supporting the reputable specialty shops and **** it up pricewise. Big box and grey market have always been a detriment. A lot of that "overpriced" stigma went into research and development of the products that we now hold as benchmarks to current products.

The companies go the route which we as consumers influence them to go. So long as we demand cheap products in the same breath as quality we will be greeted with nothing more than cheap quality products.

I've owned alot of pg stuff and quit buying anything after the xenon series. I've always been a big supporter but the rsd and rsdc line don't even come close to the titanium, tantrum, xenon , m series amps etc..

I still to this day run the xenon 200.4 for my highs as well as a set of xenon 6.5'

s as well as using the xenon crossover unit for my polk momo 6x9's. Find me a better 4 channel than that. 200rms at any ohm load 42 detents per potentiometer for precise tuning, extra power inputs for those demanding applications...aahh the good ol days...LMAO!

The only thing available in the rsdc is the sub, thats it, no full line.. The rsdc subs are probably the most musical subs pg has made, I highly suggest you try them, before you knock them, because most havent even heard them.. They are similar to the elites, but way more efficient, so you dont need crazy amounts of power for full potential.
