pheonix gold qx

I got two 12 in qx 8ohm subs (pheonix gold) and a kicker kx250.2 amp. I know this amp is underpowering them but what is the best way to hook the subs up. I still am trying to understand ohms. a diagram would be helpful. thanks

just hook up each woofer + and - that will bring it down to 4 ohm's and then bridge the amp.

let me make sure im understanding you. in order to bridge i have to run both subs together on one channel?

That is correct. The amp should bridge by hooking the speakers to the left positive terminal and the right negative terminal.
