Pheonix Gold Bass Cube ........

Hey guys im running two type rs ona cda-9807 deck. Even tho its got sub control. I need a bit more bass boost that doesnt go to my speakers. I can turn up the bass on my tuning but my speakers get the same signal and makes farting noises. Wondering if I getting a pheonix Gold Bass cube would be worth it.

It would be a lot cheaper to high pass your speakers at 80hz.

How does that work?? i see in my tuner that i can move the bass up and down dbs. there is 40hz 80 hz 100 hz and 200 hz for the bass . I tried them all doesnt really sound better.

That's the bass boost....find the HPF on your HU and set it to 80.

That's the wrong filter. Find the HP filter, as gauntlet said.

I got a cda-9807 and thats all i could find for tuning, hmmm think it has a high pass filter?

This manual sucks all this useless information. Nothing about tuning sub control or hi pass filter.
