pg tantrum 1200.1 ripoff?

I just got my PG tantrum amp that I bought off of ebay. The seller claims that it was brand new, but just looking at it now, it looks used. I mean the places where the mounting screws go have paint removed. You can see the bare metal instead of the black paint. Is this normal? And just out of curiousity, what all was supposed to come with it in the box. I have birthsheet, a manual, a couple allen wrenches, and the amp.

If it is used, I will be really frustrated. I ordered a Hifonics Zues 4000 amp from this online store called ceg1.com, and I have yet to receive it. I mean it's been over 2 months. Paypal can't do anything because it's been more than 30 days. They never respond to emails, and the number the gave is for another company that was temporarily housing them.

Bad luck with internet purchases.

That is what all came in my box. Mine was in extremely mint condition. I would claim mine was brand new like stated when I bought it. No paint scraches or any show of it ever being taken out of the box. Who did you buy it from on ebay?

I bought it from indoaudio. Apparently, this seller has great feedback, so I am puzzled.

Ya man thats all I can say to you is only buy from sellers with atlest 98% feedback.

i bought the same amp from indoaudio.. it said it was supposed to be brand new, but i recieved it and it said it was refurbished.. i called them, sent it back, and they sent me another refurbished one... the thing is, call them, their staff is real nice, and will try to help you.. they will even have someone pick up the amp for you.. after this second time getting a refurbished amp, the pg 1200.1, i gave up and asked for a refund.. they were more than willing.. so just give them a call... i bought some other stuff from them, and everything else was exactly how they said it in the auction... i think all their pg tantrums are used or refurbished... best bet is to just call them....

mine didnt have any paint chips on it. i didnt get any allen wrenches either.

i had a PG t1200.1 amp i bought offa them before i got it jacked along w/ some other shit... it came in great condition... even had the wire lockdown allen wrench its supposed to come w/.... but yeah im definately pissed about what happend.....

the amp was great except lt ****ed up my power HX2 coz it was way too powerful.... no worries.... ill get a better setup soon and oh yeah #%$* thiefs ....
