PG tantrum 1200.1 question

Correct. It DOES NOT have a regulated power supply. 12.5v = 250 x 1 @ 4 ohms, 14.4v = 1200 x 1 @ 4 ohms. Most have benched well over that at around 1400+ wrms.

aren't those suppose to be "cheater" specs? i know for a fact this amp does not drop down to 250 watts at 12.5 volts.

If it does, at 11 volts you should get the same output as at 14.4. If you can test it, go for it.Really wish I could afford that amp..

i really don't believe it is regulated but it puts out more then 250 watts. i've been reading in the pg forum and they say it puts out a minimum of 1200 watts at any voltage so i would say it would be regulated then. i wish you had the money too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
