PG 1200.1 Tantrum

Im currently running my 1200.1 PG Tantrum amp at 4ohm's to my 2 12" Type R's which is also at 4ohms. Just wondering if anyone knows if my amp can handle running 2ohm's safely or even at 1 ohm. Or if i even need to go any lower then 4 ohms for the subs i got. I'm trying to get as much boom for my buck as possible!!

you wont get much running it at 2 ohms. 700 watts for the type'rs is enough. leave it at 4 ohms. Those amps are great at 4 ohms...great amps

Tantrums put out max power from 2-4 ohms. I've heard from numerous people they are 1 ohm stable, but I have never found any info backing this up.

Mine are running at 1.6 ohms and barely get warm.

humm I have not heard too many people running them that low
