what? i have one of these amps with a 12" type r that im putting in as soon as i figure out my alt. Stupid question, if i am able to get a big enough alt, if i were to put in a second type r and a second one of these amps would it still sound really good?

It should be louder...whether or not that sounds good to you is up to you.

uhh 600 rms @ 2ohms?? maybe 850-900 clipped w/ gain on blast

to the original poster.... since you will be powering two type r's get yourself a single amp that can handle the power ratio... a single amp rated at about 1800x1 will suffice
