Faktor, you're funny. If for no other reason than the fact that you seem to be able to get in a heated debate and still not resort to spewing obscenities. For that, I salute you!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/handclap.gif.0c301076f534e244f0460706894f19e0.gif

Well, gimme a few and I will see if I can find a Dell. VoodooPc, Alienware and Falcon from Northwest aren't mass producers (each one of their computers are hand built with quality parts), so I won't even bother looking at their computers.
Brb with a "flippin sweet Dell setup" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
Try to keep it Apples to Apples. Same specs!! Good luck, I already can tell you the Dell is gonna be around $1000 more!!

I agrre on the handbuilt part, but those were the only companies i could think of that built computers for people that were decent

I explained why it couldn't do quad core.
That IS a quad core GPU though. Notice it says 1GB NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 Dual-GPU Graphics Card

That is a Quad core, double stacked dual core setup.

Since we are throwing around the words "AVERAGE USER" so much, your "AVERAGE USER" will come no where NEAR close to being able to utilize quad cpus and 16gb of ram //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hey don't question me about the Dell, I just put it together.

Oh and that DOES have Firewire on it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
this conversation can go on forever honestly i say its a mutual feeling for both of us:)

edit: it doesnt have firewire800;)

also im not just throwing out words, the g5 comes standard with that "capability"

I can't find where it says if it has firewire, like I said large manufacturers don't give you all the specs so they can keep idiots in the dark, yes even Apple.
However, I am willing to bet it has firewire, simply due to the fact that most mobos that can run dual core setups have built in Firewire, especially non-server mobos.
All Apple G5's have firewire400 and firewire 800

Haha, I remember "upgrading" from DOS to 3.11 when I was like 9. I thought I was tough stuff //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
