Paypal question

I have an account with Paypal that I have used to buy stuff off ebay. Since I have that account can someone send money to me through paypal? I have never done that before and was wondering how that works? If anyone can add some info that would be great.

so you want someone to send you money? If somone else has paypal they can send money stright to your e-mail, they just have to type in your e-mail account and the ammount.

I think it is only 3% if they use a credit card to fund the transfer, and you have to have a Premier account to accept it. If they use a bank account to fund it or are transferring from a balance already in their account I don't think they charge you anything.

It is 3%. And anybody with a paypal account can send you money via instant transfer (balance or checking) but not credit cards. If you want to take credit cards you need a business account I think they call it (it's free to) Once the money is sent to you, you can leave it on paypal as the balance for future e-baying or have them transfer it to your bank account

Yeah, it's called a Paypal Premier account if you want to be able to accept credit card payments. That's pretty much the only significant upgrade using Premier though.
