Paypal PWNAGE !!!!!!

omg, this is awesome, hahaha.

ok, so Toby's acct gets locked up from the ebay suspension, we get it all golden, waiting on paypal to settle all the disputes for tracking, which was gravy but it just took paypal forever to decide on 3 cases, then down to 1 case and its taking a week to get paypal unfrozen. Keep in mind we cant send money in or out of paypal during the frozen time, and UFJ is waiting on a refund since he chose to go another route, but since it was past 45 days, normal processes wouldnt work. so we write an email to paypal saying this is bs, we followed all guidelines, why is this one case taking so long, yada yada yada, they send a reply saying they want to part ways nicely, to refund money to whomever we need to and the rest would take 180 days to send to the bank acct where they would hold onto the money and draw interest etc wait for chargebacks, or whatever, but 180 days. so toby refunds to jason and jason, which are good buddies, to send to his other acct since they were recent payments, the rest had to be done with email to paypal to refund. so i am checking the acct, money sent to me 3 times for refund, money sent to jason again, money sent to ufj, with 97 bucks left in paypal, no prob 180 days on 97 bucks isnt as bad as 2200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif then another refund went thru and we are negative 310 in the accoutn, but the refund went thru, lol.

So i guess toby's old acct is parting ways with paypal in the negative, ahahahahhaah. how'd they get you for 1550? in a shorter version please?
2 chargebacks from one dude that bought 2 subs & an amp, for 950 total, credit card company decided in their favor, i didnt get product back or money, i even provided proof of the person selling the stuff on ebay since he used a description theft, so his credit card's arguement that items were not as described were moot, however paypal is nutless against credit card chargebacks, hence why i lost 950.

then recently another dude did the same stuff for 600 on a d5000, and credit card company won. same thing, claimed item not as described, no equipment or money returned.

Trust me, paypal's protection policy will not cover you on credit card payments when they claim item not as described, which is 1 of 2 options you get for doing chargebacks. the other option is item not received, but since i provided tracking, they knew better to go that route. PAYPAL is nutless when it comes to fighting credit card chargebacks, since supposedly credit card companies have the final say to issue credit or not on the dispute. Good for buyers, yes. good for scammers, yes. bad for honest salesmen, yes. credit card companies have too much power right now, and paypal wont back up sellers the way they should. Paypal should foot the bill if everything is legit on the seller side, but they wont. They will come up with every excuse why you didnt totally follow the policy, or better yet in my first case, they just said nothing can be done.

yes, sold that stuff.

no, i didnt refund em, i fought em the whole way but paypal decided in their favor since they have no control over credit card disputes.

so yes, people got their ish, and then they got their money back too. and paypal cant force them to return it. and it seems that law enforcement cares even less. so no stuff back, no money either.
