Paypal Ebay Help

Okay my sister sold some dishes on ebay and the person paid through paypal. Well she went and looked at her paypal account and paypal says their is a hold on the money. Like the person put a hold on it. Unit she gets possitive feedback on ebay from the person or paypal or I guess the person can see a tracking number.

Is this new for paypal I have sold thing for a good some of money and brought too never seen this before.

I think it sounds a bit shady told her to refund the money to the guy. Like how do you know the money is for real. Or really in the account.

ebay started this a few months ago. once you get enough good seller feedback they'll stop doing it. it's to help protect the buyer

Got ya thanks for the help... One other thing how do you really know them money is for real. She didnt really say it was ebay more it was paypal with the hold on it.

She still might get a bad feedback by sending the money back. I know I would if I paid for something and the seller backed out. Happened to me before. I bidded and won a Nitro RC truck that was worth 300+ for half that. The seller said some shit about she didin't know she was selling this or some shit. I would just send off the dishes and keep the buyer informed. As long as she can prove that she sent them, she'll be ok.

I have this happening to me right now. Sold an amp for $200 on ebay to someone on here and Ebay/Paypal put a hold on it.

They left positive feedback and it was delivered so hopefully it will be off hold soon.

Hummm so they left feedback already was that after that got it or before. And so it was delivered and the money is still on hold. Seems a bit odd to me.

They left the feedback before they got it. But they got it yesterday.

well that sucks most ppl sell stuff on ebay because they need money and now they have to wait about a month to get the money ? that's crazy
