What rules are you referring to that 'corporations' have made? You seem to be implying that some corporation made the rule that you shouldn't get paid twice for the same items. No corporation made that rule, our society did. And for good reason, its dishonest.

Its scams like this one, Ig's, that increase paypal fees. In essence, we all end up paying for his scam. Its much like the old excuse that insurance fraud or bank robbery is morally acceptable because you aren't stealing from a person.
yep exactly like the peeps that run up their credit and then claim bankruptcy, prime example neighbor across the street had more than 50k in credit card debt, claimed bankruptcy, then as soon as that happened she got a new car and new tits! i just don't get that crap? i'm sure i will be paying this somehow
I should add that I dont think we will all end up paying for his scam, but only because I dont think he is going to get away with it. If it was some $50 discrepancy, sure Id probably think paypal wont bother. But when someone scams them out of $1,000, Im pretty confident they will bother. And they clearly have an open and shut case against him, no matter what he claims his lawyer told him.
At this point Im becoming more and more convinced you are trolling. Nobody is this obtuse. You weren't scammed, you got your parts back, and you sold them again. I already agreed that the buyer made a dick move, and paypal should have sided with you. But that is where your moral fairness ends. You scammed paypal by not giving them back the money when you received the parts back. And you further emphasized your unethical behavior by admitting you were still able to sell the parts for the original asking price (which makes your angle that the parts were no longer 'new' a moot point).

Im sorry, but you've been given plenty of opportunities to say this story is not true. Now, only when you seem to realize there may be consequences to this thread, do you claim its made up. Id suggest you post evidence proving this never happened, but Im not sure there is any way to prove a situation never occurred. If you know of a way, please feel free to do so. Otherwise, I dont think we moderators have any choice at this point but to accept it as truth, and discuss what, if any, actions we must take to maintain a safe environment for members to do business here.
