Passing drug test

How are you going to keep them in their house?
How do you keep a drunk in their house? How do you keep a lady on pain medication in her house? How do you keep that 99 old lady who shouldn't be driving even when she's sober in her house?

If the whole counter arguement on not legalizing pot comes down to DWI's. Currently how do they test people for driving while under the influence of other medications. There's no breathilizer test for anything besides alcohol, but people are arrested every day for DWI's that don't involve alcohol. Last time I checked it's done by observing behavior (both driving and street side tests). Same could be done for people driving under the influence of weed.

wrong bro... people who are arrested for DWI for substances other than alcohol, are arrested in one of 2 cases..

1. a vehicle accident occurs, where there is personal injury... or the straight up admit to it

2. evidence of use is found on their persons.... then they are taken into custody, and to a lab for testing..

testing based on just suspicion, without other reasons involved (i.e. the reasons i stated above), is not done now... how do i know? 8 years in law enforcement

Pretty sure erratic driving, swerving, etc followed by a street side test would get someone a DWI whether or not they had anything on their person or in their car. In fact I know this to be true since it happened to my mother a few years ago. She was on perscription meds and was driving with nothing on her. Some slow driving combined with a street side test and she was arrested for DWI. No lab test, no accident, etc.

This was in Wyoming, so who knows though.

that is not admissable in court bro... I don't know what judge she had, but if she was actually charged with DWI, with no blood test, or any test, for that matter... that charge is completely and uterly illegal. a street side test only gives a cop reasonable cause for a lab test... that's why if a person is arrested for dui/dwi, their actually arrested for suspicion of dui/dwi... trust me bro, the burden of proof that lies with the prosecution... even with a simple dwi charge is immense.... an admittnce of guilt, in most cases, isn't enough to prosecute without a blood test. a "roadside test" is nowhere near enough evidence for a conviction
