Why would taking a single strain of hair be illegal?
Just wondering what particular law that falls under.

History often repeats itself, that's why.
a drug test of any sorts, requires either a court order, or a willing participant. you cannot make a person take a drug test, under penalty, unless its ordered by a judge.

with that said, as a generality, different states have different laws regulating it... some allow for testing of felony stops, or for accidents that involve an injured person... some allow for testing when determining bail or bond for a person....

truth is though, the pure logistics of trying to make a "standard" test for marijuana due to pure suspicion, like alcohol, are just too massive to implement properly. just think of it this way... a cop pulls a guy over, suspects he's been smoking... but finds no evidence. so then he has to "detain" this individual until he can be brought to a proper testing facility (remember, no breathalyzer, so testing is MUCH more complicated)... which in turn can cause someone being "detained" for several hours, based on suspicion, when they could very well be innocent. can you say, lawsuits?

Thanks,

Much better explanation than just calling me a ******* retard.

Or they just let them go and later the fucking stoner runs through a crowd of children at a crosswalk because he was, "like whao dude check out that sweet butterfly..."
exactly... i can see many police agencies being VERY wary of giving any type of drug test, even if a court deems it legal. after the first couple lawsuits, they would start letting people off the hook, just due to the fear of another lawsuit... and then, you have legalized marijuana, with no contol...

i understand people wanting to have it legalized... but c'mon guys, be realistic about it. there really is no way to regulate it... medical marijuana capable to regulated to a point (and i use that statement VERY loosely) ... but just making marijuana completely legal, would lead to a free for all with use. and, other then traffic stops, which i think i've already explained... how can you control it at all? you cant tell me that people dont do dumb shit when they are baked.... they do! it inebriates you... period. doesnt matter if you can OD on it or not, it still changes your preception of whats going on around you, your reaction time, as well as your brain chemistry in general... which can make you dangerous to the public (not saying violent, but anything that inebriates you, can cause you to be dangerous to the public, even if its not intended). thats why it shouldnt be legalized...

as far as why its illegal now... main reason, honestly, is because of how its grown... there is NO way possible to control it.... some guys want to use alcohol as a comparison... making moonshine is still illegal. having your own distillery, without proper licenses is illegal. but that is ALOT easier to control then growing your own pot... that and the fact that they cant tax it, and if they tried, it would just drive people to growing their own. once again, making it impossible to control.

do you guys see where i'm going with this, at all?

Read the part you deleted from the quote, bubblehead.
Nope, better to just irritate you. You're one cocky little boy who thinks he knows everything and anyone with a difference of opinion gets called a ****** or retard or whatever other word of the day name you think of.

Pot should be legal along with every other drug there is. As long as people don't hurt anyone else I don't care if someone sits in there house smoking crack, snorting coke tokin the bong 24/7 with 12 hookers keeping them company. As long as they keep that **** in their house, what do I care.

That's my opinion and no little internet postaholic with a severe case of nerd rage is going to tell me differently.

That is a good arguement. I still think the government is very capable of regulating it. I need to research if there has been any meaningful discussions on this, I'm sure there has. If regulating and enforcing it are the only 2 problems, then I think those can be solved over time. If they were able to regulate and enforce it I would say there should be abesoleutly no reason for it to be illegal. Legit arguments though Thank You at least for not using the usually media brainwashed arguments like its bad and takes away or life or whatever propaganda they sell. The anti commercials are seriously lame and untrue.
