Passing a Drug Test

People are always hating on Pot. Why? Its been proven time and time again to be much, much safer than both Alcohol AND Tobacco. Yea it is illegal, so is underage drinking. Did that stop any of you? More and more states are joining the legalizing of Medical and Recreational use. Most recently: Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, Alaska. There is a change coming...
i don't see the u.s. legalizing marijuana. ever. the gop will raise taxes before they legalize weed. plus once the economy gets back on track increased revenue will not even be in the discussion.

maybe not under federal law but I can definitely see it recreational use being legalized under state laws. Some will probably be slower than others but I see it happening in my lifetime. That is unless the media finds a way to make Colorado's legalization look like a train wreck. Federal law, probably not, but the feds won't go after anyone that isn't moving weight.

******* hippie.

How am I a hippie? Please explain this statement to me. I was only stating facts. Facts speak for themselves...

There is too much money to be made in it. What are our politicians? Greedy to the bone. Colorado sales broke 1 Million on day 1. Amsterdam makes $3.2 Billion a year and look how big it is. Money drives this nation no matter what shape the economy is in.

I don't think what has been known as an economy, which we are no party to, will recover. There could be minor ups and downs as it passes, but what is happening is that we are witnessing a paradigm shift. The current model for economics and government are failing. This has been the longest run for our type of limited democracy in history, and it has not been a good one. We have never not been at war, we have enslaved multiple nations, and instigated at least two holocaust directly. We have run out of friends and money. For this country to survive would take such a radical change of direction, that it is almost unimaginable that it could be done, and left in its whole. Anyway, the plant will be made legal, that is happening already. It was a foolish thing to make it illegal at the very moment alcohol was decriminalized, but the entities that arose from prohibition needed something to do for work, and they looked to hemp.

nope, never been a smoker, I dont drink, except for very rare occasions, and I only drink water, milk, and juice.
Then be thankful for the ratification of the 21st amendment, else you would be as criminal as the person that smokes weed on very rare occasions today.

That's because Capitalism cannot be sustained and is bound to fail. Karl Marx knew this over 100 years ago.

You nailed it. Capitalism requires constant growth and expansion. We will ultimately be on a resource based economy, either by choice, (which we are not smart enough to choose) or we will force ourselves onto.

[/color]but from what i hear from my family its legit or they wouldnt have told me i got 2 yrs over my head

So let me get this straight. Doing drugs is that important to you that you'd risk spending the next 2 years getting sodomized by continuing to get high while on probation?

You also realize Socialism strips you of lot of your freedoms right? Not to mention Karl Marx designed a system that he himself couldn't even run. Also, look at all the socialist regimes (Mainly the Soviets) and look what happened to them?

Cool story. How's communism panning out?

Marx also said that DEMOCRACY is the road to socialism.

Civics 101:

What is happening in America today is a far cry from capitalism.

"Democracy" is ALWAYS code-word for socialism

Socialism = dependency which is the antithesis of freedom.
