hi, I have 2 L7 dvc 4ohm.. the amp I have is stable at 1ohm and currently have the subs connected @ 1ohm but since I play mostly with the car off the voltage goes way to low when the bass hits hard.. I was told that I can wire this subs outside the box to see a 2ohm load..

How can I do this?! the box has 2 terminals and the amp has 2 + and 2 -

thanks!

But the 4 ohms can't be done out of box, you will have to wire your woofers in series then wire them in parallel.
False good sir. Wire up the coils on the outside of the box using nuts and bolts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I have them wired + to + , - to - then running the + of 1 sub to the + terminal and then to the amp same with the neg.. the thing is that my amp dont push hardly nothing on 4ohms it pushes 1000rms @ 2ohms.. cant this be connected to see 8 ohm then wire them down to see 2 ohm? I was looking this vid on the net

lmk

No, 2 or 8 ohms would be from a single woofer, 2 wires to either 1 or 4.

You can wire the subs to 2/8(Parallel/Series) ohms, when you wire both subs together in Parallel at 2 ohms you get 1 ohm, if you wire them in series you get 4 ohms. If you wire both subs in Parallel at 8 ohms you get 4 ohms, and in series you get 16 ohms.

What amp do you got?
