Paper topic help

For my mythology class, I have to write a paper that relates old characters to present day. For example, Aphrodite, Goddess of Love (Roman name Venus), could obviously be tied to Venus womens razors. Heracles/Hercules with the Disney movie Hercules a few years back, and the story of Odysseus/Ulysses and the Odyssey has very strong ties to the movie O Brother Where Art Thou.

Now, I have to find a character and tie him in with multiple examples on different media planes (TV, Magazine, Movie, physical product/company name or logo) so I was hoping you guys could give me examples. Hermes has a few instances as well (anything with a winged foot is a direct reference to him, his roman name was Nike, etc.) I am just trying to get an idea of which one will be the easiest to do.
