Does anyone know anything about this hu? How does it match up against an alpineCDA-9855? Any other hu reccomendations are also accepted.

Spec-wise I would say it would hang right with a 9855 but as far as build quality goes I have NO experience with the Panasonic so I coudn't comment on that.

well my friend has the alpine one n he doesnt want me to get the same one so im trying to find something better but in the same price range.... any suggestions?

telly our friend to **** it up and deal with the fact that you get a 9855... its a bad *** head unit

Do a search on this forum about the 9855 before you buy one. Alot of people have mixed feelings about that headunit. The glidetouch is NOT a popular feature even among Alpine fans.
