I got an email one day from crutchfield, and this deck was in their "spotlight". I clicked on it, and the specs all look good, found the price and it was only 170 shipped with free wiring harness, mounting hardware, and instructions. Well long story short I bought it, and now just got around to installing it. Other than the dash kit not fitting correctly, everything went OK. for right now, I only have stock speakers powered by its internal amp, and I think it sounds great compared to the stock deck. CD's are loud and proud. I must say I have had great luck with panasonics in the past and will look first at them for the future.
Some quick features:
5 volt pre-out
variable color display
reads just about any music CD, not SACD or DVD audio, obviously no DVD as well
Ipod control - wont use it though
Aux in - I have sat radio in here
7 band EQ
HP/LP Filter
Internal Amp Defeat
for only 170 dollars I think I did pretty well.
