the main thing im looking for is decent sound quality, and great ipod control. i was looking at a kenwood ddx712 but i live in south memphis and my windows arent that tinted so i dont want to give any free advertising. that is why i prefer a flip out . if someone can give me some reviews on these and there sound quality and ipod control, i will greatly appreciate it. im open to any other flip out screens as well under 500 dollars.

I own the panasonic and i love it. I have a Ipod touch hooked up to it and i never even see my ipod. All the controls are made from the screen. Id say over all the panasonic is pretty good. I like how it has detach and pass code.

thanks that really helps, the jvc is a little more wih 5v outputs and it has a usb that you can put a hard drive 2, its a nice feature but i have an ipod so im cool. anyone else?

no the jvc their double dins have 1 output. unless you plan on processing the hell out of it or modifying the dash get a flip out.
