panasonic cq-c9901u & samsung p2 problems

i hook up a samsung to my panasonic cq-c9901u aux inut and it sound like crap like there is no bass just clear flat sounds but when i hook my ipod up it sound fine i get bass and everything so was wondering if anybody had the same problem and how it could be fixed like do i need to use a different program to add songs to my samsung
