Im a strong panasonic fan. Not 1 problem thru 7 head units since 2000. Strong signal, GREAT sound quality.

Do you mean the Pioneer7800, or the pioneer premier d780mp?

i have the premier and love it. Just like everyone else, i had grounding issues, but its easily fixed.

depending on what u want in a HU..i had both the panasonic and the pioneer(not sure of the models but they were close to the ones u mentioned)..panasonic is an allrounder, 'calm' non invasive sound, short on bass, even on mids and highs...pioneer is more to the boomy aspect of sound, strong bass, verryyyy short on mids, and for my taste good highs...so it comes down to what u prefer...

Reason I like these is because they are so much different from what everyone else seems to be getting...

But right now I am leaning towards the panasonic, just because pioneer has so many problems.
