Spin...lol...you wanna hear/see spin, just tune into oh, I don't know, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, etc....plenty of left leaning spin there for the masses.

Only because of the fact it was tasteless, the huge double standard and the fact that Gov. Palin would dare call Letterman on it. That's all.

So a tasteless joke > all the spending Obama and Congress are doing

Just wanted to make sure we had the right focus, that tasteless joke definitely deserves more attention

Letterman apologized because Palin threw a fit about it. She parades the kid around and begs for attention.

He didn't apologize. And Gov. Palin didn't throw a fit. The media asked her about it and she responded. Again, condoning the public **** of a 14 year old is just a tad over the line, IMHO. Again, if you don't like Gov. Palin for her ideology, then debate her on that point, don't go after her family. And the double standard is why this is such an issue...it's a free country and Lettermen is free to be as tasteless as he wants to be.

Not the point. The joke was directed at the 14 year old daughter of a conservative governor by a leftist "comedien". The double standard and somehow blaming this whole flap on Gov. Palin is the issue. And Mr. Letterman did not apologize...if you think that was an apology, that was a pretty weak "apology". And if he was wrong, why was he "apologizing"?

I love how the republicans can take things out of context and blow it so far out of proportion and than fully believe they are being slighted. It's amazing how terrified republicans are. The universe flipped on its side when a black man became president. Now they have to have endless campaigns by Rush, Cheney, Beck going so far as too cry about guns and have some dumbass in Pittsburgh literally kill three people to protect his gun rights because Glen beck told him to rise up. I have given up on politics. Like you have demonstrated, everything will be a left vs right with you. All they do in Washington is argue whose side is better. Nothing will ever get accomplished with this bickering.
