Painting amp

Don't even bother with painting it, IMO...

See if you can find a local custom motorcycle or parts place, that will powdercoat the amp for you. Usually it's for a small fee, but the results are extremely well worth it. Unlike paint, you never have to worry about a powdercoated finish chipping or flaking...unless you dump it in acid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

u know of any places that do these type of things in chicago, illinois im also interested in powercoating my amp sorry for thread jacking PEsteele what amp u wanna paint the sub amp?

if you want it chromed look up a chrome shop in your area. Keep in mind some states have highter haz mat fees, so that will effect the price. Consider driving to another state if it's so.

Friend of mine just had his MTX amps sand blasted and powder coated in a chrome finish and then they clear coated them.

Cost per amp was:

$15 for sand blasting

$30 for powder coat

$15 for clear coat

Not too cheap but the finish was outstanding.
