idk i had some Power acustick FUBR 12s on the 1606D brutus and there somting around that rms, and im pretty sure you counld cook them with 1krms there just not that good,

they sound ok for the price, but im no subwoofer sound quality guy, and there really easy to blow, they go thermal way before any 1200 watt rms? (not sure) sub should go, ive had alot of other lower brand stuff, and ive cooked and seen 4 fubrs cooked on less than max power, granted most of them were dumb kids who dont know what a gain knob is, but anyway, i had 2 12s and you could push them hard with like 600-800 watts, i had one on a cruch 1000 somthing, i know it doesnt do 1k but i also didnt o-scope it so i dont know where it clipped but i know it wasnt like gain all the way up bass boost crazy stuff, and it would get to stinkin right away, and my buddy blew one with a PA 800 watt amp, the construction seems pretty good, big surround solid spider and tinsels, (not that im a subwoofer maker or anything) but the coils seems like they just cant take that much wattage,

thats my definition of not that good

hey it depends on what series amps you get, i got a ps2 1600 for $96 new and it does more than rated.

in a tiny sealed box they might handle 1200. put it in an actual ported box designed to sound decent, and 1200 would kill it in minutes.

I believe it, but i mean this sub just looks like trash, and for '09 their amps are EXTREMELY overrated, more than ever. I just wouldnt trust this one.
