I was just asking lol. I had a pair of 10's that handled only 300rms each and i powered them with 400 rms each and they lasted for about 8 months untill i sold the car!

its not always about how much the subs says it can take on both spectrums. I've put double rated power to a memphis PR, whoopdeydo! most of it comes down to USER ERROR or lack thereof when it comes to subs lasting. That was when i was 17 yrs old n just started out. im now 20 and wen through 6 different systems now. Havent blown a sub yet! so maybe you shouldn't ASSUME. Just wanted to know if they could really handle 1200wrms

lol well with a ~11.25lb magnet, that means the basket and cone assembly weigh about 7.75lbs, unless they have some space aged shit, it probably doesn't stand a chance..

Thats wat im sayin'.. it says it handles that much, but do you really, REALLY, think it can? ive only had 1 power acoustik sub set up and it went well for me. but idk how the rest matches up.

idk i had some Power acustick FUBR 12s on the 1606D brutus and there somting around that rms, and im pretty sure you counld cook them with 1krms there just not that good,
