I've been a kenwood fan since I started in car audio. Really wanted to get the kdc-x991 but my local store never got it so I bought an 880. Let me tell you this is a very good deck. If you're into SQ and don't want to "jump" into the big leagues, this is a great unit. I used the 880 active in a 2 way plus sub and sounded great. It gives you a lot of options and the auto EQ an TA does a fairly good job. Used the 880 for about 6 months and decided to "jump" to the big leagues so bought the alpine w205-H701 combo.
