there not made anymore but if you can find one they usually go for around $300its price?
I noticed you were making this claim in another thread yet you never explained how you know this or show any proof of this. Please don't make those comments unless you have some proof.I think the Pioneer may have the 1bit Burr Brown DAC's that upconvert the signal to 24bit word, where the Naks have the actual 24bit DAC's..... My older Pioneer HU was like this, may different on the 880 though....
Wow, reason # 101 why I would never buy (or even borrow) a Toyota.Actually Eclipse IS what you would find in a stock Toyota.
Keep looking up...Great. Thanks.
2) I realize forums steer clear of naming retailers, but I can't seem to find any info on Nak's site for authorized US sources. How do I find one?
pioneer's website lists it as 1 bitI noticed you were making this claim in another thread yet you never explained how you know this or show any proof of this. Please don't make those comments unless you have some proof.
Like I said in the other thread: What matters most is the bit resolution.

First of all I could care less what deck you run in your vehicle. It is your choice and yours alone. What I didn't care for is how you were sort of trying to sell your "belief" as a fact. I really don't know what the difference is between a 24bit converter and a 1 bit converter with 24bit resolution. I still think it's just pioneer's website that is screwy and that the converters really ARE 24 bit.You are the one that seems to have a problem with my having chosen the Eclipse HU over the Pioneer unit.
NO, they don't. In the left column of the "specifications" page it says "1 bit d/a converter" on the specs of ALL of their decks. Even the decks that are 16bit. Then in the left column it shows what actual converter is in that particular deck. In the case of the 880 PRS it says "24bit burr-brown".pioneer's website lists it as 1 bit
