P-wire ? Under the Car ? or Through it ?

I have always ran my power wire through the side of my door jam. But you can see it so it doesnt every look very nice and it's always getting crimped from the door being closed with a potential to ground on the cars chasis.

I have also ran a power wire under my car, but luckily nothing ever caught it ripping it from my vehicle.

I am wanting to know whats the best way to run the power wire from the battery to the trunk ?

I have a 1986 420 SEL mercedez Benz.

why not just unscrew the molding and run it under there

you should probably take it to a pro and have the power wire ran for you.

Through grommet in firewall, under trim on rockers, under carpet or whatever you need to to get into the trunk/cargo area.

Hell yea. I bought one ($60 FTMFL) and it flies through sheet metal like a hooker downtown @ 2am.

Right through a rubber grommit in clear site slice it open stick the wire through , un-bolt the seats and voila.. slick. On cars that I couldnt find such a path LOL I did it the ghetto way LOL. OH well I guess I am going to have to drill through the sheet metal (( Hope I dont hit nothing important )) lol.. I will look for a gromit in places under the motor near the firewall.. I have been to lazy to do so , and ran it underneith LOL... I knew I would get scolded for it here lol.

I just didnt know if anyone had did an install on an older benz and knew a fast route other than drilling through f-wall.

Look 10 times, drill once. I drilled a pilot hole first and stuck something through to tripple check myself.
