OZ Matrix Elite's + ED Nine.2X ??

I recently purchased a set of matrix elites and the woofers are rated at 100/200 (rms/peak) while the tweeters are rated at 50/100 (rms/peak).

I also purchased the ED Nine.2X to match the Nine.1 that's running my idmax's. The Nine.2X is rated at 200 X 2 @ 4 ohms. Will this be too much power for the passive crossovers? (i know they have tweeter protection)

Another option would be to run a third amp, a Nine.2 for the tweets, and run just the woofers on the Nine.2X. I would then be running 3 amps with an active set up.....overkill?

You will be fine with the Nine.2X running the comp set through the passives.

If worse comes to worse, just turn it down some via the gain, level attenuation in your deck, etc
