OZ Audio Matrix Elite ME 15.2 15" Subwoofer Blown Need Recone ASAP

Arggg i am so frustrated i purchased this subwoofer off of a guy on craigslist it was brand new when i got it and u could tell it had not been played...Ive used this subwoofer all of 2 months i was only putting 600 Watts rms to it from a soundstream XTA600.2 and it says it is 700 rms and ive seen guys putting 1000 rms to it with no problems.

i gave like $275 for it...and i just turned it on today and it is rattling out of nowhere and you can push down on the cone and it will stop the rattling...im guessing that one of the voice coils went out...i havent had a chance to take it out of the box or put an ohm meter on it or anything....

Im asumming i will need to get a recone kit....does anyone know of anywhere that i can get one ive not been able to find one for this Subwoofer since OZ has been out of business....This is gonna be really aggrivating to if i have to purchase a different subwoofer because then i will have to build another box and i just made the last one two months ago..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I had three and tried for months, and found no recone kits. I do though have 5 OZ Audio 700.1 mono sub amps for sale. I had 2 is series on each OZ 15", but sold 1.

They are way underrated, actually they are 1000 watts strong. I have switched to DD Audio now and am saving to get a Z2lv. Only want $195 an amp paid $450 a year ago

I doubt you will find an OEM recone, but get in contact with David Moore (TeamPSI) His web site is http://www.fixmyspeaker.com. Awesome guy.

thanks guys, ah this sucks i contacted fixmyspeaker.com and they said they could not repair it because it has a 2" voice coil
