Oxygen free wire, is it worth it?

I just use high strand copper cable, never really figured out if the oxygen free is even worth it, what is supposed to make it better, no oxidation?

i used welding wire, doesnt get much cheaper than that and has yet to let me down after 4yrs or so

Most quality wire is going to be pure enough that you won't need to worry about it. If you buy 100ft of wire for $2... expect junk.\

problem with the KLM wire is that it can be compressed but the stinger is rock solid & the KLM is more flexible

good thread. usually doesnt the ability to flex partly come from the fact that it can compress?
