Overpowering the Avalanche?

I just got the 15 ava, and am thinking about an amp to get now.. it says its raited for 800 RMS, ive been hearing from people that have them, that they feed it somwhere close to 1500 watts rms with no problems.

Just wondering, if i give it a nice 1200 RMS from the ED NINe.1 at 1 ohm it shouldnt be a problem if properly wired and everything correct?

Anyone have first hand expearence from this...?

you can run 2x that power if you know what youre doing

what exactly classifys as "know what im doing"

dont turn the gains up too loud

when the sub no longer gets any louder and you keep turning it up, youve gone too far

you can use an amp of any power on any sub, if you "overpower" it, just make sure the gains are down and it won't every see the amps full power.
