Overpowering speakers question

So I'm thinking about doing a raw driver set-up and doing an active crossover. However, the mid-bass speakers I wanted to use are only 15W rms 30W max they are 8ohms and my amp does 100W 4ohms so I'm assuming at 8 ohms it puts out 50W. The tweeters I'm trying to use are 8W RMS 80W max 8 ohm. Would that be to much power or would I be able to compensate with the gain?

well if they do blown im sure they dont cost that much to replace. i bought selenium mids but i think im gonna only use 2 so i might could sell you a pair of them. these only cost me like $32ea from parts express. and then you could get a pair of the cts-1 tweeters from cresendo audio for $49.99shipped a pair of the XST horns for $20shipped ea. the seleniums are rated at 100w and are 8ohm so u shoula be fine with your power i used them to replaced the mids that came with my cadence comp set just did a direct drop in still running it off the mb 2150 i have and going thru the xover. im not sure about the cts1 tweeters power rating but i know its higher than what you have
