Outputs??

The preout voltage basically determines how low (or high) the noise floor is going to be. A 5V preout voltage (if it's actually that before clipping) means you'd want to adjust your amp to look for a 5V input signal before the onset of clipping...there's nothing fundamentally wrong with a lower preout voltage, but it may be more suseptible to inducted noise.
