output formula

no no i'm trying to find how to determin exactly how many watts the amp is putting out at X amount of voltage i think it has like a variable for ohm load and voltage output...

You must have an Clamp Meter, and a true RMS DMM to measure amplifire output.
a clamp and a DMM? that sucks i thought i remembered seeing a formula somewhere where you use a volt meter on the amp output and plug it in to a equation which has ohm load as a variable... there is no such thing?

yeahi was wondering if you could do like a "bench test" on an amp too w/ a DMM, but i don't think you can.

i read on here that a guy paid $10 at a local shop and they did it for him w/ an oscilloscope and a dmm
