what rewiring? its a 20 minute process, probably takes longer to yank the headlights than the wiring.

I was hoping the OP doesn't have a suv or truck of some sort because that would be a big issue. Mainly with fix-it tickets

i know mine are bright as hell,and ive assed several troopers and city boys at night with both hid and 70 yellow luminex in my fogs turned on.no probs here.if you have halogen cased headlights.maybe

look in my sig closely at my headlights,you'll see i allso have that type of bowl.after owning hid's,halogens are a thing of the past

HID's use 35w, halogen bulbs use 55w. It would actually put less stress on your car.

a 35w HID kit will draw more current on ignition than any standard 55w halogen

The difference is in the projector. And it's almost a night and day change.
