eh yeah, I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that... But anyways, many soundcards have RCA inputs (my sb platinum does), and I believe there's converters to take RCA to minijack...

true... I have my turntable mixer going through my soundcard, but that's not near the same amount of energy, it's just whatever the preamp voltage goes up to.
