Hey im from Olando Florida. Ive aways wanted to get Subs so i got 2 12' alpine type R's with a sound stream 1000watt amp. not doing any research i just installed them myself. A mix of a small leak in the window of my 1990 Nissan Pathfinder and too much power from the amp i blew both speakers. last week my stuff got jacked, jokes on them all they got was a good amp. it still sucks. now im going to do my research be for i buy any more speakers. kinda sucks b/c i worked all summer to buy those speakers. first things first im going to buy an alarm to put on my truck. then ill buy speakers.

I looked at the box today. I thought it was a 1000 watts its really 760 watts. the subs were used and I had a leak in my window so i think it loosned the glue.
